Responsibilities

  1. Define technology standards to ensure IoT connectivity of generation assets and metering devices.
  2. Collaborate with EIS engineering functions and the supply chain team to implement IoT standards for assets in future projects.
  3. Develop a roadmap to enhance IoT connectivity of existing assets, in close cooperation with regional EIS units.
  4. Define business requirements for EIS gateways and drive their scaling.
  5. Design and implement IoT enablement programs for regional EIS units.
  6. Support data engineers in establishing cloud-based data infrastructure.

Qualifications

  1. University degree in IT or an engineering discipline.
  2. Several years of operational experience in designing, installing, or operating OT systems, asset automation, or IoT protocols.
  3. Experience in asset-heavy industries, ideally in energy.
  4. An outgoing, collaborative personality with a can-do attitude.
  5. Strong stakeholder management skills, capable of bridging gaps between teams.
  6. Fluency in English and German, both written and spoken.
  7. Flexibility: hybrid work model, flexible hours, sabbatical or additional vacation options for work-life balance.
  8. Ability to work abroad up to 20 days within the European Economic Area.
