Business Development Manager

Location: Central Germany (preferably in the Frankfurt to Dusseldorf regions)

Business development and account management

Our Client:

Leading European supplier of temperature controllers designed for industrial process cooling and refrigeration solutions. Focused on energy efficiency, sustainability, and environmentally friendly systems to reduce operating costs and cycle times for various industrial applications.

Role Overview:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in B2B sales within plastics processing environments, such as injection moulding, extrusion, or blow moulding. Key responsibilities include expanding the customer base and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the plastic moulding manufacturing sector.
  • Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers.
  • Understand customer needs and recommend suitable temperature control systems.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to post-sale support.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to provide tailored solutions.
  • Conduct market analysis and competitor research for strategic planning.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and industry events.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in B2B sales, particularly in plastics and moulding industries.
  • Strong technical understanding of injection moulding machinery, mould tooling, hot runner systems, and temperature control equipment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel extensively.
