Your mission
As an Account Manager, your primary objective will be to increase the P&L of the France & Benelux region by sourcing and executing profitable transactions. This role requires a combination of analytical skills and effective client interaction. You will play a key role in Vanilla Steel's growth and establish robust, profitable operations, engaging in activities tailored to the company's evolving needs.
You Can Expect To
- Manage France & Benelux metal markets
- Generate brokerage and trading activity on behalf of Vanilla Steel
- Ensure thorough follow-up on deals, coordinating with the operations team for logistics and payments
- Leverage existing client relationships, managing French-speaking customers with both supplier and buyer coverage
- Proactively reach out to potential clients, initiate cold contacts, and arrange meetings to expand the customer base
- Manage operational activities of the trading platform, such as preparing transactional data and order confirmations
- Analyze and report on operational processes to increase efficiencies and scalability
Your profile
- Ambitious, entrepreneurial, target-driven mentality
- Strong analytical skills, structured thinking, and a hands-on attitude
- Solid organizational capabilities
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Experience in sales and account management
- Professional proficiency in English and French; knowledge of other languages is a plus
- Proficiency in CRM tools (Hubspot preferred)
- Experience in trading or digital marketplaces, especially in metals, is advantageous
