About the Role : We are looking for an experienced Key Account Manager (f / m / d) to join our Aerospace and Defense EMEA sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business, delivering profitable revenue with strategic and key customers, primarily in Germany. Aerospace and Defense market and sales experience, teamwork, and collaboration with other functions including Product Managers, Applications Engineers, and Strategic and Sales partners will be critical to success.

This is a remote position, and you can work from your home office in most locations within Germany.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage and support Key and Strategic accounts in Germany with sales of current and future Aerospace and Defense product portfolio.
  • Develop strong relationships with customer leadership and decision-makers, including key technology and buying influencers.
  • Identify revenue growth opportunities and develop and implement sales strategies to close these opportunities.
  • Own and execute the territory sales plan in alignment with Regional Sales leader, updating as needed.
  • Drive and deliver year-on-year profitable revenue growth.
  • Support the forecasting process and maintain visibility for strategic and key accounts in Salesforce.
  • Conduct thorough pre-call planning with relevant account team members.
  • Conduct regular customer business reviews.
  • Identify and quantify sources of value provided by Gore.

Required Qualifications :

  • Minimum 3 years proven experience selling Aerospace & Defense (A&D) products in Germany, working with major local Tier suppliers and OEMs.
  • Minimum 3 years of account management, complex selling, and new business development experience.
  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and strong technical sales capabilities.
  • Proficient in CRM systems like Salesforce.
  • Strategic thinker and planner, focused on delivering profitable revenue and excellent customer experience.
  • Ability to interact effectively and influence across organizational functions.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Appreciation for cultural differences and ability to work across multiple cultures, languages, and countries.
  • Fluent in German and English.
  • Valid EU driving license.

Desired Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in technical science, engineering, or business.
  • Knowledge of cables and components used in Aerospace applications.
  • Knowledge of sealants used in Aerospace applications.
