Johnson Electric Group - Key Account Manager (Germany)

Johnson Electric Group is the world’s leading provider of innovative motion systems and components for automotive applications, domestic equipment, office equipment, industrial products, consumer products, and medical devices.

We are currently seeking a Key Account Manager to expand our business within the Industry segment. This role offers remote work and primarily covers northern Germany. Candidates should be based in North Germany or willing to relocate within the country.

Responsibilities:

  1. Promote Johnson Electric’s electro-mechanical products in the assigned territory, providing local expertise and aligning customer needs with our strategy.
  2. Manage existing sales portfolios and explore new opportunities to maximize profitable revenue.
  3. Enhance customer satisfaction and develop long-term partnerships.
  4. Understand technical specifications, feasibility analysis, project cost analysis, planning, sampling, validation, and quality issues to support customer growth.
  5. Represent customer needs internally and ensure business development aligns with these requirements. Assist the Business Unit in finding suitable solutions based on customer applications and market analysis.
  6. Manage budgeting, re-pricing, and forecasting.
  7. Monitor competitors and conduct market research to prioritize and win new business.
  8. Follow structured sales processes and maintain sales tools like Salesforce for opportunity and revenue tracking.
  9. Oversee or coordinate key sales tasks, including contracts, agreements, quality, logistics, and documentation.

Your profile and experience:

  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electromechanical, Electrical, or similar).
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role with international exposure and a network in Germany.
  • Strong technical knowledge of electro-mechanical products such as actuators, electric motors, switches, and solenoids.
  • Self-organized, motivated, resilient, and proactive personality.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions, especially with technical experts.
  • Ability to influence senior-level customers.
  • Willingness to travel 40-60% regularly.
