Software Engineer Automated Robots (m / f / d)

We are a dynamic international team developing a UWB-based Real-Time Locating System (RTLS) that enables our solutions across various industrial applications. To cover all aspects from production to logistics, we are offering the KINEXON Fleet Manager to steer autonomous mobile robots (AMR).

Join our full-stack team to scale existing solutions and create innovative KINEXON products in collaboration with colleagues from our software and hardware departments. Whether you're a motivated fresh graduate or an experienced developer, we invite you to push the boundaries of our development.

We utilize a diverse tech stack to develop our services. In the backend, Python is our main language, but we are gradually transitioning to include multiple languages depending on our needs, including TypeScript and Golang. In the frontend, we use Vue.js for our configuration and insights UIs, and WebGL frameworks if more performance is required. For managing deployment and supporting our development needs, we employ a dockerized workflow.

Your tasks and responsibilities

As a full stack developer, you will play a crucial role in building components for internal and external customers. You will design and develop monitoring and configuration services, and create APIs within our KINEXON Industries ecosystem, focusing on real-time networking, microservice architectures, parallel processing, distributed systems configuration and monitoring, continuous integration and delivery, and full-stack system testing.

Your profile

• Excellent programming skills in Python, including asynchronous programming
• University degree in Computer Science or related field, or comparable work experience
• Experience developing front-end applications using SPA frameworks, preferably Vue.js
• Experience with database patterns, SQL, and ORMs
• Optional experience with message brokers and distributed architectures, preferably Kafka
• Good knowledge of software architecture and design patterns
• You are a reliable team player willing to take responsibility and advance the team with your solutions
• You possess a quality mindset and soft skills to share your knowledge within our proactive agile environment
