This role is ideal for a hands-on manager eager to transform our ERP and finance systems landscape from a small reactive support team into a modern business-driven operation that enhances operational efficiency. It offers the opportunity to build and shape IT strategy rather than oversee a large well-established department or lead an engineering team focused on complex technology solutions.

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Finance Transformation Manager to take ownership of a critical phase in our ERP implementation journey. Our organization is in the midst of transitioning to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central as our core ERP platform. While the initial rollout has covered some core accounting functions, progress has stagnated, and the broader vision for transformation across finance and adjacent business functions remains unrealized.

  • Create strategic alignment with key stakeholders across the organization
  • Lead the global rollout of ib vogts group-wide ERP system ensuring seamless integration across regions
  • Advise management and specialist departments on the implementation and optimization of business processes and ERP systems
  • Ensure the systems are configured to meet business requirements and comply with industry standards
  • Oversee the maintenance and optimization of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and LucaNet
  • Coordinate ERP system tests and quality assurance
  • Manage issue resolution and system improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Define and actively track KPIs to measure the success of transformation initiatives
  • Serve as a sparring partner for key stakeholders in the CFO area to align system capabilities with business goals
  • Act as the primary point of contact for finance system-related inquiries, ensuring user needs are met
  • Collaborate closely with IT and finance teams to enhance cross-departmental process integration
  • Develop and implement training concepts for employees

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, PMP) is a plus
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in ERP systems management, specifically with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and LucaNet
  • Strong experience in financial process design, systems implementation, and compliance
  • Strategic leadership with the ability to steer and direct global teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Project management proficiency with the ability to oversee multiple priorities effectively
  • High level of integrity, accountability, and professional ethics
