Job Summary:

The New Account Manager – Healthcare
Acts as the primary point of contact for customers in establishing new accounts within the healthcare sector. Collaborates closely with Marketing to identify potential clients and nurture leads, developing targeted strategies to win business from organizations not currently partnered with CSA Group. Leverages internal research tools to build and manage a robust sales pipeline, defines value from the client’s perspective, prioritizes opportunities, and crafts strategic outreach plans. Develops comprehensive customer profiles and call strategies that address why prospects are not yet working with CSA, proactively overcoming objections and clearly articulating CSA’s value proposition to secure new business.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develops new account relationships to achieve personal sales targets, promoting the full range of CSA Group services
  • Independently identifies and solicits new business within an assigned territory using diverse lead-generation methods
  • Annual goals are established for prospecting, quoting, and overall sales performance
  • Re-engages former clients who transitioned to competitors, aiming to regain their business
  • Collaborates with Technical Specialists and Operations teams to prepare detailed written service cost proposals
  • Represents the company in professional associations and external organizations as designated by management
  • Maintains a comprehensive contact list based on experience, reputation, and both assigned and self-developed relationships
  • Submits periodic written reports on customer engagements, proposals, quotes, expenses, travel, and trade show activities, as well as delivers oral updates as needed
  • Analyzes industry reports, competitive data, and territory insights to support strategic decision-making and reporting
  • Works remotely as needed
  • Occasionally manages challenging clients
  • Frequently navigates tight deadlines and shifting priorities
  • Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time, including weekends when necessary
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license

Preferred Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of sales or relevant healthcare industry experience
  • Familiarity with sales CRM tracking systems is advantageous
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently exceed sales targets
  • Experience interacting with senior-level executives in large organizations
  • Skilled in creating clear, effective, and professional written communications and presentations
  • Proven ability to plan, prepare, and execute complex strategies while managing multiple priorities
  • Self-directed and highly organized
  • Proven track record of handling confidential information appropriately
  • Proactive and skilled in building new customer relationships
  • Able to foster strong internal collaboration and effectively follow up on client needs
  • Excellent time management and organizational capabilities
  • Creativity and planning skills for events, projects, and conferences
  • Highly motivated and goal-oriented with minimal supervision
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM systems
  • Able to respond to customer inquiries with timely and accurate cost proposals
  • Professional, courteous, and customer-focused in all interactions
  • Very good commando of German and English - spoken and written
