The HR Specialist d/f/m supports our German HR Operations team. The role involves supporting associates, managers, the global HR team, and cross-functional systems, processes, and policies, including onboarding and offboarding.

This position is based in Germany, located in Freiburg and Dreieich, and is an on-site role. It is a temporary position to cover maternity leave, lasting 12 months, with full-time or part-time hours (minimum 30 hours/week).

What You’ll Do

• Prepare employment contracts, references, and certificates
• Support HR functions like onboarding and recruiting
• Participate in HR process optimization, harmonization, and standardization
• Handle general administrative tasks
• Assist with payroll preparation

Who You Are

• Proven experience with HR tasks and knowledge of German employment law
• Thrives in a collaborative, dynamic, global matrix environment
• Confident with MS Office and employee management systems (Workday knowledge is a plus)
• Fluent in German and English

It would be a plus if you also have experience in:

• German Social Security Law
