Be active part of a project team for new product introduction (NPI) and application development.
Interact with firmware, application software and system engineers.
Develop/adjust hardware for new applications.
Design circuits & layouts according to the requirements of characterization, sensor fusion or application team.
Design 3D models for internal setups, customer demonstrators, and early samples.
Enable project specific hardware solutions: demokits, internal setups, customer demonstrators, early samples.
Interface to external development partner.
Implement & execute tests for HW release.
Support end of line setups for component & module build.
Production & Quality
Maintenance & improvement of existing automotive hardware.
Cooperate with quality and operation team for legacy products during the continuous improvement process and in case of customer complaints.
Support with definition of improvements and root cause analysis of device failures.
Qualifications and Skills
B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Electronics, Electrical engineering or comparable engineering discipline.
Good knowledge in electronics.
Very good experience in circuit design & PCB layout (e.g. Altium, Eagle, KiCad).
Experience in 3D CAD modeling (e.g. Autodesk Fusion 360, Solidworks).
Experience in automotive HW development.
Know-how about Automotive SPICE process is an advantage.
Knowledge about functional safety and/or ASIL is a plus.
Knowledge of communication interfaces (LIN, I2C, SPI, CAN, Serial).
Knowledge in software & firmware is an advantage.
Effective written and oral communication skills in English.
Knowledge of German language preferred for exchange with external partners.
