Job Description

In this role, you will lead the development of new large project investment opportunities for Linde, with a specific focus on Clean Hydrogen in the EMEA region.

You will drive the maturation of opportunities from concept to final investment decision, including developing acceptable commercial structures and modeling key financial KPIs.

Your responsibilities include utilizing your understanding of markets, the competitive landscape, regulatory frameworks (such as RFNBO, CBAM), customer and industry trends, and the Clean Hydrogen value chain to develop investment opportunities. You will also connect with internal and external stakeholders, steering engagements to facilitate timely decisions.

You will lead cross-functional teams to develop safe, technical, and commercial concepts using Linde's offerings for customers and partners. Additionally, you will negotiate and close long-term supply agreements, ensuring value is maintained during T&Cs negotiations.

What Makes You Great

  • You possess a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Chemical Engineering or a similar technical discipline; a postgraduate qualification in business or marketing is a plus.
  • You have over 5 years of relevant experience in the Industrial Gas business, driving complex projects and leading high-performing teams across multiple functions.
  • You have a strong understanding of project management, leading workstreams, ensuring accountability, and tracking deliverables.
  • You are capable of working under pressure and managing multiple priorities within tight timelines.
  • You have good commercial skills and experience in developing investment opportunities.
  • You possess strong experience in customer relationship development and demonstrate key leadership attributes, including effective communication, interpersonal skills, trust-building, resourcefulness, and proactivity.
  • Understanding or experience in the renewables industry is a plus.
