ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee operational implementation phases of laboratory integrations, including assessing current models, planning, and executing integrations while ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Carry out operational activities such as equipment procurement, technical requirements, and personnel training.
- Build collaborative relationships with stakeholders in partner laboratories.
- Identify change management sensitivities and develop risk mitigation plans.
- Analyze partner laboratory processes to assess risks and benefits, and implement necessary actions with cost-benefit considerations.
- Test and validate new processes before full implementation.
- Implement operational requirements across various functional teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate and deploy project requirements.
- Develop and deliver detailed business and operational plans, including ROI and budgets.
- Set objectives and goals for projects and ensure their achievement.
- Work with leadership to define long-term strategic priorities.
- Coordinate with internal and external groups for successful operational initiatives.
- Communicate project progress, risks, and KPIs to stakeholders.
- Guide project teams to meet deadlines and objectives.
- Monitor team performance and identify development needs.
- Engage with leadership and stakeholders as needed.
- Manage project health, including risk management, resource allocation, and reporting.
- Innovate to improve delivery quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Participate in enterprise initiatives and special projects as assigned.
- Uphold ethical standards and organizational values, ensuring accountability and reporting concerns.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline with at least 5 years in laboratory operations leadership.
- Experience in laboratory process improvement projects and project management.
- Ability to foster collaborative team environments and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to travel as needed.
- Fluency in English and German.
