We are looking for a Key Account Officer / Project Manager to join our international team. In this role, you will manage certification projects for international key accounts in the fields of environmental safety, IT security, and quality standards.

This is a hybrid role based in either Essen, Germany, or Slavonski Brod, Croatia. Candidates must be located in these areas.

What you will be doing

  • Providing exceptional customer experience to new and existing accounts by working with team members.
  • Implementing and delivering new contracts and commitments to meet operational requirements.
  • Acting as a key liaison between DNV customers and auditors to ensure seamless communication.
  • Planning and organizing audits to ensure high-quality work within deadlines.
  • Engaging in sales activities to secure and develop existing customers, including attending customer visits and external meetings.
  • Collaborating internally with DNV colleagues and participating in business project activities to secure future growth.
  • Implementing and maintaining efficient systems like CRM to streamline certification processes.

A typical day in this role might involve

  • Reviewing new customer and auditor requests at the start of the day.
  • Monitoring ongoing projects and maintaining accurate records.
  • Assisting auditors with administrative tasks.
  • Preparing documentation for certification.
  • Collaborating with the sales team on calculations and planning.
  • Participating in team meetings to discuss progress and opportunities.

Qualifications

  • At least two years of work experience.
  • Strong commercial background.
  • Professional proficiency in English and German.
  • Prior experience in a customer-focused role.

Preferred

  • Experience in certification.
