Manager Corporate Operational Excellence Projects - Industry 4.0 (f/m/x)

Your Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and result-driven Manager to join our Corporate Operational Excellence team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and supporting the implementation of operational excellence projects with different business partners globally across the whole ZEISS group to drive the implementation of cutting-edge Industry 4.0. initiatives. Your key responsibilities would be:

• Develop and implement strategies to optimize production processes and increase efficiency with the help of Industry 4.0 measures (e.g. automation, digitalization)
• Consulting internal customers developing holistic solutions based on best practice approaches with a focus on standardization
• Identify opportunities for improvement and work with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements, leveraging the latest technological advancements
• Lead and support the implementation of strategic continuous improvement initiatives with a focus on Industry 4.0
• Collaborate with the Corporate Operational Excellence team, Operations, IT-departments and external partners to develop and maintain best practice solutions and procedures. • Develop and manage budgets and resource allocation for high impact projects
• Provide leadership and mentorship and develop a high-performance culture
• Coach, educate, and develop continuous improvement skills and competencies globally.

Ihr Profil

• Master's degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering or a related field
• Several years of experience in a production optimization or operational excellence role in a consultancy environment
• Strong understanding of how to combine production optimization principles with latest technological advancements from Industry 4.0, Automatization, Digitalization
• Strong project management skills
• Proven track record in driving continuous operational excellence and supporting cultural transformation
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex data sets
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Willingness to travel (internationally)
• Fluent proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken.
