Responsibilities include:

1. Coordination and supervision of monthly closings according to US GAAP in close collaboration with internal and external shared service teams.
2. Preparation and reconciliation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, including initial consolidation stages.
3. Ensuring compliance with company-wide timelines and policies during financial closing processes.
4. Handling ad-hoc inquiries and coordinating related analyses.
5. Preparation of statutory annual financial statements for Swiss entities and supporting audits.
6. Close cooperation with controlling and treasury, acting as an interface to auditors and tax advisors.
7. Monitoring and optimizing internal financial processes, especially regarding risk management and tax requirements.
8. Ensuring compliance with internal policies and contractual agreements.

Qualifications include:

1. Degree in finance or accounting, or a comparable qualification.
2. Several years of professional experience in a similar role, preferably in an international environment.
3. Strong knowledge of group consolidation, ideally in US GAAP and Swiss accounting standards.
4. Initial experience with M&A is advantageous.
5. Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, and SAP FI/CO.
6. Knowledge of consolidation tools like HFM is a plus.
7. IT affinity and some experience with IT projects.
8. Excellent German and English language skills.
9. Analytical thinking, initiative, and a structured work approach.
10. Strong communication skills and enjoyment working in an international team.
