PLC Commissioning Engineer

Location: near to Heidelberg, Baden Wurttemberg.

Position Overview:

• Develop and implement PLC programs (Siemens/Codesys) for warehouse robotics, progressing from prototype to full-scale production.
• Lead the setup and deployment of systems at customer locations, both domestically and internationally.
• Generate technical documentation, including test results, inspection logs, and acceptance records.
• Diagnose and resolve system issues while maintaining detailed reports.
• Provide training to clients worldwide on system usage and operations.

Qualifications:

• Background in electronics, mechatronics, or automation technology; additional technical certifications are a plus.
• In-depth understanding of automation systems and related network protocols (e.g., Profibus, Profinet).
• Practical experience with Siemens Simatic S7 and familiarity with other programming languages.
• Knowledge of standard IT systems.
• Customer-focused with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, reliably, and as part of a team.
• Flexibility and readiness to travel.
• Proficiency in English and German, both spoken and written.
