Job Description

Airbus Helicopters is seeking a Maintenance Documentation Engineer for Governmental Helicopter NH90/TIGER (d/f/m) to join our team in Donauwörth. This role involves managing current and future projects related to helicopter maintenance documentation.

Location

Donauwörth site, situated on the banks of the river Danube, where we develop helicopters from initial concept to airworthy product, including on-site testing.

Responsibilities

  • Impact analysis of triggers such as service bulletins, customer comments, and modifications, in coordination with ILS Management
  • Planning incorporation of triggers and revisions with programs and production teams
  • Authoring updates using tools like Chronos and Arbortext
  • Proofreading and validating revised tasks within the team
  • Delivering updated Data Modules to Master CSDB
  • Participating in internal and external meetings related to technical documentation and airworthiness
  • Supporting corrective actions and initial airworthiness at MSR level
  • Acting as AMP Focal point for new variants and negotiating with partners during qualification processes
  • Representing AMP topics in customer meetings and updating relevant documentation at NHI and Airbus Helicopters levels
  • Identifying deviations in technical documentation for the German Armed Forces

Qualifications

  • Several years of experience in support, service, or engineering, preferably in customer support
  • Experience in helicopter maintenance or production, particularly in Final Assembly or Flight Line
  • Knowledge of ILS processes
  • Willingness to travel for business
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and G Suite
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Fluent in English and German; additional languages are a plus
