The Head of the Site Service department is a senior leadership role responsible for all operational activities at the production site. This includes accountability for the management of the power plant, site utilities, wastewater treatment plant (including environmental lab), waste management, and facility management. In addition to daily operations, the head and their team oversee strategic planning and maintenance projects in these areas. The department comprises 75 employees and involves close interaction with external service providers and contractors. The position reports to the managing director and is part of the site management team.

Your Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the operations management of the power plant, site utilities, wastewater treatment, environmental lab, waste management, and facilities to ensure smooth production.
2. Develop and implement the site manufacturing plan as a member of the site management team, shaping the future of the Grenzach site.
3. Serve as a role model for inspiring leadership and promoting a culture of safety, learning, and caring at Grenzach.
4. Encourage continuous improvement within the department.

You Bring

• Senior leadership experience in a technical or manufacturing setting.
• Educational background as an engineer, preferably in process, mechanical, or electrical engineering.
• A passion for safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement.
• Preferably, education in Six Sigma methodologies.
