Business Development Manager (m/w/d), Munich

Munich, Germany

Responsibilities:

  1. Active acquisition work across the entire sales territory, focusing on new customer acquisition.
  2. Generating new and follow-up projects, including with existing customers.
  3. Expanding our market position through customer acquisition and development.
  4. Planning and documenting sales activities.
  5. Regular active reporting on sales results.
  6. Continuous expansion of business with target customers and industries.
  7. Independent negotiation of sales and contracts.
  8. Close collaboration with the product department, field sales, and technical teams.
  9. Market and competitor observation.
  10. Multiplication of solutions and products through target customer and industry focus.
  11. High flexibility and creativity in finding solutions in collaboration with suppliers, internal manufacturing, and internal/external teams.
  12. Participation in product range development, sales campaigns, and trade fair appearances.
  13. Travel activity with occasional overnight stays.

Requirements:

  1. Vocational training as a merchant and/or technician.
  2. Field service experience and product knowledge in the rubber and plastics sector are advantageous.
  3. Customer-oriented and sales-oriented thinking and actions.
  4. Technical basic understanding.
  5. Confident handling of drawings, MS Office, and SAP.
  6. Careful, prompt, responsible, self-reliant, and self-motivated working style.
  7. Strong communication skills, confident demeanor, and enjoyment in dealing with customers.
  8. Good English skills.
