We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced manager to oversee our Enterprise Data Quality, Master Data Management, and Reference Data Management workstreams. This role will focus on developing and implementing strategies to ensure Siemens Energy's data is well maintained, accurate, and reliable through effective data quality and management practices.

About the Role
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of data governance principles, and the ability to drive data quality initiatives across the organization. The position requires close collaboration with various teams to identify, address, and resolve data-related issues, establishing robust data quality and management frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of data management professionals, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Develop and implement strategic goals aligned with organizational objectives.
• Ensure continuous professional development and performance management of team members.
• Provide strategic guidance to data domains and collaborate to enhance data governance frameworks.
• Oversee the establishment and enforcement of data quality standards and procedures.
• Implement data quality metrics and reporting mechanisms to monitor and improve data accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address data quality issues and their impact on business processes.
• Provide thought leadership on architecture, tools, and governance models, exploring innovative ideas like AI-driven data quality, data monetization, etc.
• Develop and manage master data and reference data strategies, standards, and processes to ensure consistency and reliability across systems.
• Standardize and harmonize master data definitions and processes, documenting data entities.
• Advocate for the right tools and approaches to make data management future-proof.

Qualifications

• University degree in IT, Data Science, Business Administration, or related fields.
• Extensive experience in data management and quality roles within large enterprise setups, demonstrating leadership capabilities.
• Proven success in developing and executing enterprise data strategies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
• Solid understanding of data quality, master data, and reference data principles; experience with data modeling and architecture is preferred.
• Proficiency with data management tools such as SQL, ETL, data governance platforms, and MDM solutions like Collibra, Informatica, Talend, or Ataccama.
