Business Development Manager - Production (f/m/x)

Job Description:

Our Production Department is responsible for the supply chain behind the online used-car-buying experience for private customers — from vehicle repair to delivery via our glass trucks or transport to the pick-up branch. We are fast, data-driven, and efficient. Our goal is to redefine the used car market for private customers through a first-class production process. We encourage you to contribute by questioning the status quo and demonstrating your negotiating skills and competence.

As part of the Business Development team at our Berlin headquarters, you will work closely with on-site departments at our production facilities in Germany to elevate our used-car refurbishment processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and expand infrastructure for our in-house production sites in Germany to increase capacity and improve workflows.
2. Communicate with business partners across Germany and conduct contract negotiations to expand projects for our retail brand Autohero.
3. Manage cross-location workflows and coordinate goal achievement using forecasts and custom tools.
4. Analyze processes, develop improvement measures, and ensure smooth operations.
5. Drive scalability of processes and oversee the implementation of new IT features from specification to rollout.

Qualifications:

• Completed studies in business administration, supply chain management, industrial engineering, business informatics, mechanical engineering, logistics, or a similar field.
• Work experience in start-ups, management consultancies, fast-growing companies, or the automotive sector is a plus.
• High flexibility and willingness to travel for on-site project implementation.
• Hands-on mentality, ownership, agility, and solution-oriented mindset.
• Excellent analytical and presentation skills.
• Entrepreneurial thinking, decisiveness, and flexibility.
• Fluent German and English skills are mandatory.
