Role Overview: The Surgical Account Manager will develop our surgical business, ensuring the best clinical outcomes and establishing Heart Recovery as a new standard of care through a Heart Team approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities, generate market awareness, and promote Abiomed surgical products.
  • Develop new accounts and build relationships with KOLs.
  • Educate customers on indications, contraindications, and technical applications.
  • Support surgical cases when appropriate.
  • Manage transition from purchase to clinical implementation to drive adoption.
  • Collaborate with surgical clinical consultants and cardiology teams to achieve growth.
  • Organize surgical round tables and conferences.
  • Engage with cardiac surgeons, HF surgeons, cardiologists, ICU nurses, and perfusionists.
  • Travel up to 80% within the territory.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in biomedicine or similar.
  • 5+ years of experience in cardiac surgery or surgical medical device sales.
  • Strategic selling skills and understanding of cardiac surgery and MCS.
  • Experience in direct patient support.
  • Fluent in English and German.
