The project:

P6 senior planner to work on large-scale construction projects.

You will lead and develop a team of planning professionals.

You will maintain up-to-date industry knowledge and expertise in schedule management tools and software.

You will provide timely and effective advice to clients.

You will understand data management and ensure accuracy in schedule inputs and reports.

You will manage assistant and planning managers as required.

You will persuade, influence, and build relationships with colleagues and clients.

You will develop talent and deliver persuasive presentations.

You’ll need to have:

Experience as a Primavera P6 project planner on large civil engineering/infrastructure projects, ideally for a tier 1 contractor or client-side consultancy.

A construction-related degree (civil/structural engineering, construction/project management, or equivalent).

Digital savvy, capable of building client relationships and leading motivated teams.

Experience with large projects/programmes.

A background in construction or project management, eager to grow your career.

Experience managing multiple projects.

Mentoring and upskilling inexperienced planners.

Implementing planning principles within project management communities.

Working with diverse stakeholders.

Planning complex infrastructure projects and summarizing schedules at portfolio level.

Experience with construction projects such as living accommodations, offices, workshops, sports facilities, and infrastructure.

Familiarity with planning software like Microsoft Project and Asta Power Project.

Proficiency in P6 (P6 pro and P6 EPPM Web).

Managing large data sets, schedule import/export, risk analysis, and configuration management in P6.

Membership in professional bodies (APM, RICS, CIOB, ICE, AACE, IRM, IEMA) or equivalent.

Deep expertise in property or infrastructure project management.

Strong commercial and financial acumen.

Leadership experience in managing large teams and stakeholder relationships.

Awareness of how sustainability and carbon considerations influence projects.
