K&K Social Resources & Development GmbH is an international recruiting agency that has been providing technical resources in the European region since 1993. This position is with one of our clients in Germany who is actively hiring candidates to expand their teams.

SAP HCM Consultant

Hybrid (2 days onsite a week)

Responsibilities

  1. Provide functional support for SAP HCM Germany Payroll modules
  2. Handle system customizing, Germany-specific tax and regulatory requirements
  3. Utilize schemas and PCR for region-wise payroll processing
  4. Solve complex payroll issues using expert knowledge of SAP rules, schemas, functions, and application functionality
  5. Support client-specific customizations
  6. Work flexibly as a proactive contributor to the support organization
  7. Analyze and resolve issues related to:
  • Interfaces (e.g., TA GFO's interface, EY program extraction)
  • Benefits handling
  • Historical retroactivity in payroll
  • Positive time management
  • HRSP installation and SuccessFactors integration
  • Year-end activities

Experience

  1. 10 to 12+ years of experience with SAP HCM Payroll and Time Management
  2. Extensive experience supporting application end-users
  3. Strong SAP ECC configuration and administration skills
  4. Proven ability to solve complex problems across HRPY modules and finance integration
  5. Familiarity with tax submissions and regulatory compliance in Germany
  6. In-depth knowledge of :
  • Pay structure and payroll processing
  • Off-cycle payroll, accounting postings, and payslip generation
  • Year-end payroll processes
  • Incentives, bonuses, pensions, and tax reconciliation
  • Social security, health and life insurance, labor union and pension fund contributions, and garnishments
  • HR-FI integration and EMEA Swift-EY interfaces

  5. Solid understanding of HR and Finance integration
