In this Golang-based environment, you will develop backend solutions, optimize existing services, and help shape our architecture. Your work will involve microservices, caching strategies, and CI/CD processes, available on-site in Leipzig or remotely.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop, design, and implement data models and sustainable code for complex service and fulfillment systems for well-known web portals such as ab-in-den-urlaub.de.
2. Follow best practices in CI/CD and advance test automation.
3. Utilize caching strategies (e.g., Memcache, CDN).
4. Contribute to redesigning our architecture and establishing microservices.
5. Scale and improve existing backend services.
6. Collaborate and share ideas within multidisciplinary and agile teams.

Your Profile:

1. Several years of experience in web development.
2. Excellent knowledge of Golang and database development (e.g., MySQL), with some PHP expertise being a plus.
3. Strong understanding of CI/CD procedures and test-driven development.
4. Experience with cloud services such as AWS.
5. Interest in design patterns and software architecture.
6. Analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
7. Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
