In this Golang-based environment, you will develop backend solutions, optimize existing services, and help shape our architecture. Your work will involve microservices, caching strategies, and CI/CD processes, available on-site in Leipzig or remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, design, and implement data models and sustainable code for complex service and fulfillment systems for well-known web portals such as ab-in-den-urlaub.de.
- Follow best practices in CI/CD and advance test automation.
- Utilize caching strategies (e.g., Memcache, CDN).
- Contribute to redesigning our architecture and establishing microservices.
- Scale and improve existing backend services.
- Collaborate and share ideas within multidisciplinary and agile teams.
Your Profile:
- Several years of experience in web development.
- Excellent knowledge of Golang and database development (e.g., MySQL), with some PHP expertise being a plus.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD procedures and test-driven development.
- Experience with cloud services such as AWS.
- Interest in design patterns and software architecture.
- Analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
