About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as Senior Embedded Software Engineer for our SPR#64 instrument. This role involves designing, developing, testing, and supporting software solutions, with a focus on embedded Linux systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user needs to create user stories and scenarios
• Design, develop, test, release, and maintain software solutions
• Write automated acceptance tests to ensure functionality
• Modify existing software for error correction, performance improvement, or hardware adaptation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across optics and microfluidics fields
• Recommend and implement process improvements

Qualifications

• Degree in natural sciences or a related field
• Proficiency in modern software development with C#
• Experience in Embedded Linux development
• Experience with Test-Driven Development, Refactoring, and Pair Programming
• Basic knowledge of OpenCV and IP-networking
• Experience with agile development methodologies
• Additional skills such as EventStore/Kurrent or QEMU are a plus
• Excellent communication skills in English
