As the insurance partner of Toyota, the largest automobile manufacturer in the world, we develop and distribute outstanding insurance and financial services products for brands such as Toyota and Lexus, as well as specialized products for our car dealership organization.
To strengthen our Finance & Actuarial team, we are looking for a self-driven individual to join us at our offices in Ismaning, Germany, in the role of Senior Actuary Non-Life (m/f/d).
Responsibilities:
- Manage reserving tasks under local GAAP, IFRS, and Solvency II, collaborating closely with our entities.
- Assist the Chief Actuary in providing actuarial advice to the CFO, Board, and Branches.
- Provide guidance on Solvency II topics across the organization.
- Support risk management, ORSA processes, and planning/FP&A.
- Offer guidance on reinsurance and underwriting strategies across the organization.
Qualifications:
- University degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field with a strong quantitative focus.
- Qualification from a recognized actuarial body in the EU is advantageous.
- Several years of experience in actuarial reserving (preferably motor), data-oriented tasks, and regulatory reporting under Solvency II or similar frameworks.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with actuarial software (preferably ResQ).
- Strong team skills and ability to work collaboratively across Europe.
- Fluent in spoken and written English; German language skills are an advantage.
- Ability to operate confidently in an international environment.
