As a PHP Software Developer , you will play a key role in the technical development and enhancement of a REST-based tool suite . This suite powers the creation, management, and optimization of advertising campaigns via the Google Ads API and Bing Ads API . With a brand-new, modern React Web-Frontend , the company is taking its campaign management tools to the next level.

Responsibilities :

• Drive the development and enhancement of the backend tool suite using a service-oriented architecture.
• Develop REST-based backend tools in close collaboration with React web frontend team.
• Take ownership of your services and features, directly contributing to the scalability and optimization of the systems.
• Support quality assurance throughout the development and release process.

How You’ll Work :

• Software development that combines modern frontend technologies with a solid backend foundation (Mezzio / Laminas) using the latest PHP versions.
• Quality assurance through code reviews, unit tests, OpenAPI, and continuous learning.
• Clear role distribution and constant collaboration foster a strong team spirit and knowledge exchange.
• They use Git and Continuous Integration, supported by Ansible and Atlassian Cloud tools like Jira, Bitbucket, and Bamboo.
• Their modern collaboration tools (Slack, Figma, Zeplin, Canvas, and more) enable efficient and innovative teamwork.

Requirements :

• You are based in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland and OPEN TO RELOCATE to Munich.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented software development with PHP and MySQL .
• Passion for clean code , with a strong focus on quality, independence, and solution-oriented work .
• Enjoy working in small, agile teams and always strive to find the best possible solution .
• Highly motivated and capable of inspiring others to perform at their best .
• Fluent in English , German is a plus.
