Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) - (m/f/x) AFC Technology

As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), you will be responsible for implementing SRE best practices and delivering key monitoring and metrics to support Deutsche Bank's Anti Financial Crime capabilities.

Your key responsibilities

• Build software for IT operations, including automation of health checks, monitoring, alerting, and automatic recovery from failures.
• Promote SRE culture by example and collaborate with application developers to handle negative/fault scenarios proactively.
• Develop high-quality software with functional and non-functional tests.
• Support IT operations teams in troubleshooting critical issues and create backlog items to prevent similar faults.
• Peer review code and provide constructive feedback to improve overall code quality.

Your skills and experiences

• Passion for SRE practices and incorporating them into your work.
• Hands-on experience in Java, Kubernetes, Messaging ecosystems, focusing on resilience, scalability, performance, and incident response.
• Experience in automation of manual IT tasks.
• Extensive knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automation testing, and chaos testing in active-active topologies.
• Strong Linux scripting and SQL skills, with troubleshooting experience at the database and application level.
