Join Our Team at SMS group GmbH in Mönchengladbach

We are looking to recruit a Sales Manager who will work on future-oriented topics such as CO2 mitigation technologies, resource efficiency, and sustainable development. In this role, you will be an integral part of our technological sales team, playing a key role in steering international steelmaking sales projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Developing technical solutions, products, and services
  2. Actively acquiring customers
  3. Launching new products and reporting market needs to the global management team
  4. Conducting market analyses and identifying potential beyond current business
  5. Interacting with existing customers across all regions
  6. Ensuring active communication between different regions
  7. Negotiating and managing contracts

Candidate Profile

You have successfully completed a master's degree in engineering or a comparable qualification with a metallurgical background. We are also looking for:

  1. Several years of professional experience in sales and metallurgical plant construction (minimum 3-5 years)
  2. Experience managing international teams
  3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including presentation and negotiation abilities
  4. An entrepreneurial mindset, independence, and a proactive attitude
  5. Willingness to travel frequently (approximately 25%)
