Service Operational Excellence Manager (m/f/d)

This newly created role within the Food and Healthcare Technologies division supports the growth of our business until 2030. As the future position holder you will play a key role to transform the organization into a proactive, state-of-the-art service organization. You will focus on improving efficiency and operational excellence, streamlining processes, enhancing Field Service Engineer utilization, boosting Supply Chain performance and further developing our technical support organizations. The future position holder will be based in Cologne, Germany. Other locations in Germany could be also considered.

Your responsibilities and tasks:

  1. Conduct workshops with multiple stakeholders and define a roadmap based on strategic and operational requirements
  2. Lead and support implementation of a new Technical Support Organization with remote service tools and global coverage
  3. Streamline and support optimization of processes across field service, parts supply chain, and technical support
  4. Lead initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and address feedback to improve service quality
  5. Lead projects assigned by Senior Management and promote growth mindset

Your profile and qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, business management, or equivalent; other qualifications with demonstrated experience will be also considered
  2. Proven experience in leading complex projects across functions in B2B environment
  3. Prior experience in service operations or capital goods are beneficial
  4. Strong interpersonal skills including persuasion and stakeholder relationship-building
  5. Structured and systematic working approach with excellent communication skills across all organizational levels
  6. Intercultural experience
