RESPONSIBILITIES

In our Global Ecotoxicology unit, you will join a dedicated, international, and passionate team working on diverse aspects of Regulatory Ecotoxicology, with a focus on aquatic organisms.

  • As a (Senior) Regulatory Scientist, you will develop, communicate, and implement scientific strategies, defending these in front of internal and external stakeholders.
  • You will plan, conduct, and deliver all agreed studies, lab activities, and other regulatory tasks according to compliance, safety, and financial requirements.
  • You will coordinate all global, regional, and national technical/scientific issues within your technical center, including project work and interactions.
  • You will ensure the strategic and efficient use of external suppliers and develop new ideas, concepts, and approaches.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's degree in biology (zoology, ecotoxicology, ecology, or related field), preferably with a PhD.
  • Experience in ecology, ecotoxicology, or environmental science, preferably with knowledge of aquatic invertebrate species.
  • Expertise in a specific area of ecotoxicology or risk assessment is advantageous.
  • Professional experience and skills in project management.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
