Job Description:

GFIC is searching for an international Food Ingredients Company for the position of Global Category Manager Food Colours m/f/d.

Tasks

• Responsible for pricing and promotion of Food Ingredients categories to maximize consumer appeal.
• Manage relationships with vendors and oversee product range management.
• Aim to increase sales and profitability to drive sustainable growth.

Knowledge

• Proven experience as a category manager in Colours Food Ingredients.
• Solid knowledge of category management, marketing, and sales principles.
• Understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods.
• Comprehensive understanding of marketing and sales principles.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data and insights to identify industry and consumer trends.
• Provide client-focused insights regarding products and categories.
• Foster trust relationships with vendors to improve pricing and service quality.
• Support appropriate ordering to meet consumer demands.
• Determine product positioning to maximize visibility.
• Coordinate with marketing to set competitive pricing and promotional activities.
• Collaborate with sales to expand product categories.
• Forecast product demand to ensure inventory sustainability.
• Manage budget development and revenue for the category.
• Oversee a team of analysts and support staff.

Requirements

• B.Sc., MBA, with 10 years of experience in a similar industry.
• Fluent in English; Italian skills are a plus.
