(Senior) Consultant Procurement

Location: at any time, permanent contract, primarily on-site with clients during the week, and typically at our offices in Munich, Cologne, or Hamburg on Fridays

Your Mission

• Participate in on-site project teams, taking responsibility for project content
• Shape project details, analyze data, develop hypotheses and ideas
• Motivate client teams through close collaboration, lead workshops, discuss optimization strategies, and develop implementation plans
• Support implementation activities, including tender preparations, negotiations, and execution
• Assist clients with transformational approaches and change management

Your Profile

• Master's degree from a reputable university
• At least 2 years of professional experience in management consulting focused on purchasing or within the procurement department of a leading international company, preferably with project experience
• Basic understanding of purchasing, commodity group management, strategy, cost reduction, negotiations, or supplier days
• Experience or interest in target operating models, sustainability, digitalization, or resilience in procurement is desirable
• Knowledge of one or more commodity groups is advantageous
• Fluent in German and English
• Strong analytical, structured thinking skills, and good interpersonal awareness
