We are seeking a Sales Manager (m/f/d) for our Syngas catalyst portfolio (Hydrogen, Ammonia, and Methanol) in Munich.

This role will be actively involved in business development projects in the field of energy transition, with a strong focus on building and expanding strategic cooperations with European Engineering Companies. Responsibilities

  1. Manage the complete sales process from acquisition, bid proposal including risk management, contract negotiations with pricing approval from manager, and after-sales services. Support order processing.
  2. Ensure achievement of sales and profitability targets for the assigned sales region.
  3. Acquire new customers by analyzing and understanding clients' technology in detail and offering appropriate products.
  4. Maintain accurate forecasts as input for resource planning.
  5. Utilize and maintain reporting systems and sales tools (CRM, Installed Volume, Miller-Heimann Sheets, and similar, Call Reports, etc.).
  6. Provide post-sales services including order processing, payment collections, handling of complaints, and arranging technical services with ACT.
  7. Act as the face to customers for troubleshooting cases, startup/shutdown site services arrangements with support from ACT.

Requirements

  1. Degree in Chemical Engineering (preferred) or Chemistry.
  2. Minimum 3 years of working experience in sales or technical service within the chemical industry, preferably in the field of catalysis.
  3. Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
  4. Willingness to travel to customer sites and provide technical service support.
