Become an Applied Materials Field Service Engineer who investigates error reports and finds solutions where others struggle.

Be part of a multinational and dynamic team. You will represent Applied Materials at customer locations and be responsible for the accuracy and quality of service solutions. This role combines in-depth technical expertise with excellent customer support to implement best practices such as:

  • On-site installation and support of advanced electro-mechanical and electronic wafer fabrication equipment
  • Performing preventive and corrective maintenance independently or as part of a team
  • Systematic troubleshooting and fault elimination of systems
  • Maintaining a safe working environment

Engineers or Technicians—career changers are welcome.

Professional experience in technical service is preferred. Knowledge of equipment in the semiconductor industry is a plus.

Strong problem-solving skills to analyze and resolve complex issues that may take up to 6 weeks or more.

Fluent in German and English to collaborate with international colleagues and read technical documentation and schematics. The company operates primarily in English.

Working days are mostly Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends or public holidays.

Willingness to travel up to 30% for business or training purposes.
