Junior Technical Asset Manager (onshore wind)

Location: Hamburg | Salary: €50-60k

About the Role:

Amber Renewables is working with a leading international IPP that plays a key role in the onshore wind market across Germany and Europe. We’re looking for a Junior Technical Asset Manager to join their team in Hamburg. This is a great opportunity for someone with a relevant degree and ideally some hands-on experience, such as a working student role, to develop their career in the renewable energy sector.

Your Responsibilities:

• Support the day-to-day operations of wind farms, ensuring efficiency and compliance with contractual agreements.
• Assist in preparing production and financial forecasts for assets.
• Help investigate operational issues, identifying causes of plant failures and supporting corrective actions.
• Contribute to identifying opportunities for operational improvements and cost reduction.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Assist with insurance claims and incident reporting related to plant faults or accidents.
• Work closely with maintenance contractors, supporting budget management and maintenance activities.

What You’ll Bring:

• A degree in engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred) or another relevant field.
• Ideally, some experience in a working student or internship role related to renewable energy or asset management.
• Fluency in German and a professional level of English (both written and spoken).
• Strong proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with SAP ERP is a plus.
