Project Manager, Sustainability (m / f / d)
POSITION SUMMARY
LivaNova has established a Sustainability strategy delivery program with global coordination to respond to regulatory requirements and commercial needs. The Sustainability commitment encompasses the Company’s Sustainability Focus Areas – People, Products, and Planet.
The Head of Sustainability drives the Sustainability governance structure and is accountable for successful prioritization and execution of the strategy and associated initiatives. The Sustainability Project Manager partners with the Head of Sustainability and is a member of the LivaNova LEIP team.
The Sustainability Project Manager will be mainly responsible for:
- Assisting the Head of Sustainability and ESG Task Force to execute against the Sustainability strategy with data gathering/analysis & PMO (project management) support.
- Maintaining the central framework for Sustainability requirements.
- Knowledge of all tools and technologies that support Sustainability.
- Assisting with Sustainability transformational change management internally and externally.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Data aggregation and modeling, leveraging Lean methodology problem-solving tools.
- Lead global as well as small- and large-scale project delivery, monitoring budget, resources, and timeline with minimal guidance and supervision.
- Ensure compliance to Regulatory standards, mapping risks and driving corrective actions.
- Quickly learn new processes, policies, and technologies.
- Seek, understand and critically apply Sustainability industry best practices.
- Build best-practice-based processes and globally collaborate to ensure alignment/ transparency.
- Robustly document processes via flow diagram, standard operating procedure (SOP), user guide.
- Implement and enforce processes and controls that enhance ESG KPIs and financial discipline.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Consistently high-level communication skills (written and verbal).
- Lean-trained to organize, lead/co-lead, and deliver Lean events (Kaizens, workshops, etc.).
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while executing deliverables.
- Able to engage a wide variety of stakeholders at all levels (both internally and externally).
- Able to motivate and coach others at various skill levels, seniority, cultural background.
- Robust collaboration with multiple time zones and where English is not the native tongue.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree in a critical thinking (e.g., Engineering) or ESG-related discipline.
- Organizational and global project delivery and change management experience highly desirable.
- Lean or 6sigma training/certification highly desirable.
- Strong Microsoft skills including PowerPoint, Word, Excel (Vlookup, Pivot Table, Macros).
- Ability to travel regionally and internationally with minimal guidance and supervision.
