Technical Project Manager - EV Charging - DACH

Job Description

Our Client - A fast-growing player in the European e-mobility infrastructure sector, is seeking a Technical Project Manager to oversee the rollout of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations across the DACH region.

Role Summary: As a Technical Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the delivery of electric vehicle charging installation projects across the DACH region. From coordinating contractors and managing timelines to handling technical troubleshooting and liaising with local authorities for permits and grid connections, you’ll be the key point of contact throughout the entire delivery process.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Own the delivery of EV charging installation projects from planning to go-live.
• Coordinate contractors and field teams, ensuring smooth execution across multiple sites.
• Liaise with local authorities and grid operators to secure permits, plan grid connections, and resolve logistical challenges.
• Provide technical oversight and first-line troubleshooting support during installation.
• Support commercial teams on technical feasibility and delivery timelines for client proposals.
• Manage change requests, such as relocations or capacity upgrades, including cost tracking and delivery.

What You Bring:

• A background in engineering or a related technical field.
• Experience in technical project management, ideally with EV charging, energy systems, or construction.
• Comfortable managing multiple projects at once with a structured, proactive approach.
• Able to carry out site assessments, cost estimates, and technical designs.
• Self-driven, accountable, and quick to adapt in a fast-evolving sector.
• Fluent in German and English.
