Job Responsibilities and Requirements

The following outlines the key responsibilities and qualifications for the HR position:

  1. Ensure all new hire paperwork, offer letters, and employment contracts are completed promptly.
  2. Provide HR data support for Payroll, Recruitment, and other HR functions.
  3. Accurately complete employee-related paperwork and maintain HR files.
  4. Input and update employee data on HCM systems for accurate reporting.
  5. Generate HR reports such as monthly updates, exit interview reports, and organization charts.
  6. Support ad hoc projects and coordination tasks, including seasonal projects.
  7. Provide accurate HR data to external payroll providers.
  8. Manage HR absenteeism data and coordinate with payroll and finance teams.
  9. Distribute pension plan information to new hires post-probation and coordinate with external providers like AON.
  10. Liaise with external partners, e.g., Fitness First, to ensure optimal service delivery.

Resourcing and Recruitment Support

Assist the HR Manager with effective recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, and coordinating interviews, in partnership with Talent Acquisition Specialists.

Reporting and Process Improvements

Support HR reporting activities, including data updates, process improvements, and ad hoc reports, working closely with HR IT.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant qualification in HR or Personnel Administration.
  • Good knowledge of labor laws, compensation, and tax legislation.
  • 2-3 years of experience in DACH region, preferably also Czech, in retail, service, or hospitality sectors.
  • Experience with HRIS systems like Oracle is advantageous.
  • Attention to detail, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, native German, and Business English; additional languages are a plus.
