The Role

Are you ready to take on an exciting challenge as a Customer Partner with Kyndryl? We seek a dynamic individual to revolutionize relationship management, drive account growth, and boost profitability. You will create, maintain, and develop deep customer connections, bringing out the best of Kyndryl and building trusted relationships with top-level executives.

As a Customer Partner, you will drive proactive account growth in Germany, develop strong relationships with customers and key business executives, respond to client queries, and identify new business opportunities within existing and new customers. You will lead one or more accounts and be the driving force behind generating new opportunities and expanding existing work into larger scopes and new capabilities. Building a strong go-to-market pipeline with our partners, you will pursue and secure new deals, elevating Kyndryl's market position.

You will leverage your deep knowledge of IT best practices and external industry standards to impact our customers positively. Staying ahead of trends, you will provide innovative solutions that position Kyndryl as a market leader. As an account owner, you will ensure customer satisfaction, account compliance, and uphold a stellar reputation.

Responsibilities:

  • Main point of contact for all customer account management matters
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
  • Create proposals, respond to RfPs, negotiate contracts, and close agreements to maximize profit and growth
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • Ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs
  • Communicate progress of initiatives to stakeholders
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing and new clients
  • Forecast and track key account metrics, prepare reports on account status
  • Collaborate with sales teams to identify and grow opportunities
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven work experience (5+ years) in account management or relevant roles
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills at all organizational levels
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong negotiation and client-focused solution delivery skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills across complex matrices with clients and internal teams
  • Knowledge of IT business and technology trends and industry best practices
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Business Administration, Sales, or a related field

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Advanced degrees (e.g., Master’s)
  • Sales experience in technical solutions
  • Relationship management expertise
  • Subject matter expertise in areas like Cybersecurity, Mainframe, AI
  • Cross-functional team management experience
