Accounting professional wanted - number cruncher with a system!

As a Financial Accountant, you will ensure smooth payment transactions - with a keen eye for detail. You have SAP under control, optimise processes and manage to keep track of even complex payment runs. Job description

Tasks

  • Collaboration in accounts receivable, accounts payable and bank accounting to ensure a smooth accounting process
  • Checking and posting incoming invoices and credit notes, as well as processing open transactions to ensure proper bookkeeping
  • Checking payment runs and posting incoming payments in coordination with the respective departments and reconciling bank accounts
  • Implementation and optimisation of posting processes in SAP ERP to ensure efficient and error-free processing
  • Processing batch input folders and reconciling differences in order to quickly identify and correct discrepancies

Requirements

  • Successfully completed commercial training or comparable qualification, further training as a financial accountant / bookkeeper desirable
  • Several years of professional experience in financial accounting required
  • Expertise in accounts payable and accounts receivable as well as compliance, data protection and VAT desirable
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office and SAP FI required, other modules desirable
  • Business fluent in German, proficient in English
  • Valid work permit for the European Union (no student visa)
