What's the role?

Team:

This team manages the portfolio of products and services used in driver assistance and autonomous vehicles. The scope includes data for driver assistance and centimeter-accurate lane data for hands-free driving. The team develops in-car use cases and software products to demonstrate driver assistance benefits, handling activities from ideation to market launch through collaboration with partners and customers. ADAs

We seek a highly skilled Engineering Manager in Automotive Software Development to lead innovation in Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and in-vehicle software. The role requires a strong technical background, leadership skills, and expertise in Android, Flutter, and React development.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a development team for in-vehicle operating systems, interfaces, and cloud APIs.
• Design and implement GUI solutions for ADAS, focusing on Android development.
• Utilize modern frameworks like React and Flutter to develop scalable, user-friendly applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless system integration.
• Stay updated on automotive software trends to foster innovation.
• Optimize and enhance existing software for performance and reliability.

Who are you?

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years of application development experience in Android, or extensive experience in Flutter or React.
• 5+ years leading development teams.
• Strong expertise in system architecture and design.
• Proven track record in delivering complex products or solutions.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of other in-car OS like QNX and Automotive Grade Linux.
• Experience with automotive software.
