As a Fullstack Engineer with frontend focus (m/f/d) for our online services, you are involved in all parts of the product life cycle: enjoy working on end-to-end product development, bringing in your frontend experience, and helping to improve our backend systems. Are you up for that new challenge? Then we would like to welcome you to our team in Munich, Berlin or Paris!

Feature Development: You drive the development of customer-facing features, from idea over user experience tests to implementation.

Code Quality: You write well-designed, testable, efficient code by using the best software development practices.

Frontend Development: You create web-based user interfaces and tools and help us build our frontend tech stack.

Backend Scalability: You build scalable backend services that can handle a quickly growing product.

Scalable Architecture: You and your team colleagues are responsible for designing scalable web applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and Google Container Engine.

Your fitness level

• Frontend Expertise: At least 3 years of practical experience and proficiency in frontend development and running web services.
• Web Technology Proficiency: Proficiency in HTML5, modern JavaScript (TypeScript + React), CSS; experience with Ionic Framework, Ionic Portals, Capacitor, and debugging native apps is a plus.
• Backend Knowledge: Backend development experience with Java or Golang and RESTful APIs is required.
• User-Centric Design: Passionate about user experience, interaction design, and responsive design.
• Tech Enthusiasm: Interested in latest trends such as build systems, test automation, and continuous delivery.

Your training goal for your first 6 months

• Ownership: Take ownership of your work, understand architecture, and deliver on product requirements while improving testability and functionality.
• EGYM Knowledge: Familiarity with the EGYM ecosystem and the roles of different teams in the software engineering department.
• Cultural Fit: Blend with the team and company culture.
• Codebase Proficiency: Comfortable working with our codebase.
