The Role

You will be responsible for managing critical utility systems, ensuring safety and efficiency, and leading projects to improve system reliability and performance. Your scope includes machinery such as chillers, compressors, cooling towers, boilers, pumps, air handling units, and chemical delivery systems.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead improvement projects to enhance reliability and reduce operational costs.
2. Manage expansion and temporary utility projects from design to execution.
3. Oversee commissioning activities and troubleshoot operational issues.
4. Analyze system data and monitor equipment to ensure optimal performance.
5. Develop solutions for cost reduction and operational improvements.
6. Create and update SOPs and train personnel on new systems.
7. Apply FMEA and root cause analysis for system issues.
8. Collaborate with EHS team to ensure safety and environmental compliance.
9. Develop maintenance strategies for utility systems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in mechanical or industrial engineering roles.
• Experience in manufacturing facilities, preferably in Germany.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, HVAC, and rotary equipment.
• Project management experience; PMP certification is a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• German language proficiency at B1 level required.
