What to Expect:

Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg marks a defining moment in Europe for Tesla’s mission of accelerating the world’s transition to sustainable energy. Here we launch revolutionary products on a massive scale, using extraordinary speed, innovation, and efficiency. Our employees ensure that we achieve our goals, and we welcome you to help us write the next chapter of our success story.

The Training team’s mission is to empower the best talent with world-class training. We are a diverse group of driven professionals who work independently yet always have each other’s backs. Every opinion matters and together we always work efficiently to find the best solution. We have proven that we work at Tesla speed and deliver high quality. Being part of this team is a unique opportunity to help shape a training concept of unparalleled magnitude from the very beginning.

Your responsibility will be with the design, continuous improvement, and facilitation of mechanic trainings for a broad audience from operation, maintenance, and engineering; including teaching basic or advanced mechanic knowledge but also sharing best practices. You’ll be close to production and develop trainings according to demand.

This role offers you a unique opportunity to accompany a recent and quickly developing training organization and to contribute your own ideas. Continuous improvement, an open mindset, and a proactive - as well as a mutually supportive - work style complete your profile.

What You’ll Do:

  • Brand Ambassador & Role Model: Committed to Tesla’s mission, the Training team’s goals, and delivering value to customers.
  • Training Development: Design and deliver mechanic and mechanic-related training programmes.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Actively share expertise, insights, and ideas to help colleagues solve challenges more efficiently.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with technical departments and production teams to keep training content up to date and impactful.
  • Proactive Mindset: Take initiative to work independently towards agreed goals, contributing to Tesla’s success whilst escalating issues in a timely manner when support is needed.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Education & Experience: B.Sc./M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanics, or Master Craftsman certification, with several years of experience—ideally as a trainer for apprentices.
  • Continuous Growth: Dedicate time to self-development and improving department-related topics.
  • Teaching Expertise: Skilled in delivering theoretical and hands-on mechanical training using hand tools and machine tools.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiar with hydraulics, with additional experience in mechatronics, CAD design (Catia V5/V6, AutoCAD), drives, and robotics being beneficial.
  • Trainer Certification: AEVO trainer certificate is preferred.
  • Languages & Work Ethic: Fluency in German and English (C1/B2 proficiency), highly productive, and committed to delivering quality results.
  • Collaboration: Strong teamwork skills and a proactive approach to achieving goals.

What We Offer:

You will be working in our state-of-the-art Gigafactory where you’ll solve the world's most interesting problems with the best and brightest people who share a passion to change the world. Tesla’s compensation package includes competitive salary and Tesla shares or bonuses. Typical benefits that are offered are a pension program, 30 vacation days, employee insurance, free EV charging stations, and public commuting support.
