SAP SuccessFactors Functional Consultant (EC & Time)

  • Location : Germany or Poland, Hybrid (2 days onsite in either Berlin or Warsaw)
  • Type : Full-time, permanent

A pan-European company is looking to hire an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Functional Consultant to help support and expand its internal HR systems landscape, with a particular focus on Employee Central and Time Management.

The organisation is several phases into its multi-year HR digitalisation programme and now needs a hands-on consultant to work closely with HR Ops, Payroll, and IT to deliver ongoing enhancements, localisation, and support across DACH and CEE regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the SME for Employee Central and Time Off configuration and support
  • Work with regional HR teams to tailor and improve processes around working time, accruals, holiday calendars, and employee data
  • Translate business requirements into scalable SAP SF solutions, including rule configurations, workflows, and user experience improvements
  • Support ongoing localisation for German and Polish legal requirements (tariffs, partial leave, working time compliance, etc.)
  • Handle testing cycles, documentation, release notes, and change tracking
  • Collaborate with integration leads and payroll teams to ensure stable data flow across systems (SAP HCM, third-party payrolls, or legacy tools)
  • Contribute to governance, issue resolution, and reporting on key KPIs across the HRIS environment
  • Participate in Agile sprint cycles and planning discussions with wider HR Tech & IT delivery teams

What You Bring

  • 4+ years’ experience working with SAP SuccessFactors, ideally with a strong focus on EC and Time Off / Time Management
  • Strong understanding of German and / or Polish labour law as it relates to system configuration and compliance
  • Proven ability to manage stakeholder requirements and translate them into clean, maintainable system designs
  • Solid configuration experience, this is a hands-on role, not just advisory
  • Experience with HR / payroll integrations (on-prem or cloud-based) is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery models and / or working in DevOps-style HRIS teams
  • Fluent in English; fluent in German or Polish is a major plus

Why Apply?

  • Work in a high-impact role where your input directly improves the lives of thousands of employees
  • True ownership of your modules – no firefighting or endless SI backlogs
  • Flexible hybrid working (choose Berlin or Warsaw as your base)
  • Supportive, stable team with clear development paths into lead and architecture roles
  • Competitive salary, training budget, home office allowance, and localised benefits package
