Senior Software Engineer

For our customer in the Space industry located in the Munich area, we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with a strong contribution and responsibility in shaping the design and development of software for the CYB MNT Team (software used for vulnerability management, report generation, automation, etc.).

Responsibilities include:

1. Implementing and testing designs and ideas for CYB MNT software, supporting the entire software lifecycle.
2. Mentoring and guiding the software team in development activities.
3. Collaborating with Cyber Security Managers and Team Leads to ensure software alignment with customer requirements.
4. Maintaining design documentation, coding standards, and technical procedures related to software usage.

Technical Skills Required:

1. Degree in software development with a focus on cyber/IT security, or equivalent experience.
2. At least 5 years of experience in software development/architecture.
3. Knowledge of databases such as MySQL and MongoDB.
4. Strong understanding of software development concepts including Software Architecture, Full-Stack Development, Agile Methodologies, Test-Driven Development, Continuous Integration, RESTful API Design, and OOP.

Soft Skills:

1. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
2. Ability to understand complex interrelationships and quickly adapt to new projects and technologies.
3. Confidentiality, reliability, and proactive learning attitude.
4. Strong team collaboration skills, independence, and problem-solving abilities.
5. Proficiency in English; German language skills are advantageous.
