Together with our partner, a leading, medium-sized company (>3000 employees), we are looking for a motivated and experienced Team Lead IT-Infrastructure (m/f/d) for the headquarter in Northern Germany.

This position offers you the exciting opportunity to initially realign the German location IT-wise and to play a key role in shaping it. From a long-term perspective, there is the possibility to develop towards a stronger strategic and global IT infrastructure responsibility.

Tasks

  • You will lead and develop a team of IT experts and foster a motivating and productive work environment, taking into account both the company's goals and the needs of the team.
  • You are responsible for the selection, implementation and operation of the IT infrastructure, including network, servers, storage and cloud solutions.
  • You will be responsible for identifying and introducing innovative IT solutions to continuously optimize the efficiency and performance of the IT infrastructure.
  • You will develop measures to increase the service quality and customer satisfaction (internal) and work closely with internal and external stakeholders.
  • You will manage IT projects in the infrastructure area and negotiate and manage contracts with external IT service providers.

Requirements

  • You have in-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure (network architecture, server management, cloud, data center operations, backup/recovery).
  • You have solid experience in leading teams and/or managing complex IT projects, as well as in fostering a productive work environment.
  • You communicate confidently with various stakeholders and are characterized by a sense for change processes.
  • You think strategically and are experienced in developing and implementing IT roadmaps in the area of IT infrastructure.
  • You speak fluent German and English (at least B2).
