We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on automation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. The successful candidate will be instrumental in optimizing and scaling our software delivery pipelines and infrastructure at Tset. You will take a leading role in enhancing and streamlining CI/CD workflows, addressing internal IT requirements, and ensuring the reliability and performance of our cloud infrastructure. Your expertise will be crucial in driving the adoption of DevOps best practices and fostering a collaborative development environment. You will contribute to ensuring our processes and infrastructure align with relevant standards and regulations.

  • Multi-Region Deployment Management: Architecting, implementing, and managing robust and resilient multi-region deployment strategies for our applications and services.

  • Kubernetes Environment Management: Expertly manage and optimize our Kubernetes deployments across AWS and Hetzner.

  • Infrastructure and Process Optimization: Continuously improve the performance, reliability, and scalability of our infrastructure and deployment pipelines.

  • Automation and Standardization: Implement and maintain automation for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployments.

  • CI/CD Pipeline Enhancement: Design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines, ensuring efficient and reliable software delivery.

  • Cloud Infrastructure Management: Manage and optimize our cloud infrastructure across AWS and Hetzner (e.g., EKS, EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS on AWS; dedicated servers, virtual machines, and self-managed Kubernetes on Hetzner) for performance, cost-efficiency, and scalability.

  • Collaboration and Support: Work closely with development, QA, and other teams to provide support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth deployments.

  • Compliance and Best Practices: Implement and uphold DevOps best practices, contributing to our adherence to relevant standards and regulations.

  • Technical Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure, deployment processes, and operational procedures, including multi-region setups.

Required Skills

  • Industry Experience: A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in DevOps or related engineering fields.

  • Cloud Expertise: Strong proficiency with AWS infrastructure (e.g., EC2, VPC, EKS, IAM, RDS) and experience with Hetzner cloud services (e.g., dedicated servers, virtual machines, self-managed Kubernetes) as a plus.

  • Kubernetes Expertise: Deep understanding and extensive practical experience managing large-scale Kubernetes deployments.

  • Containerization: Deep understanding and practical experience with containers, container images, and Kubernetes across the software development lifecycle, with a focus on multi-cluster management.

  • Automation Tools: Expertise with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) with experience in multi-region orchestration as a plus.

We pay competitive salaries based on talents’ skills and experience; legally, we have to disclose the minimum salary, in this case € 75,000 gross per year for the requirements mentioned above. This salary is based on Austrian standards; salary may differ according to talent's location.
